Description

MATRIX is a multi-peptide vitamin C serum for skin that looks firmer, smoother and more luminous.

MATRIX pairs a copper peptide with signal peptides and a stable vitamin C ester in one lightweight serum. Use it morning and night to help improve the look of fine lines, firmness and overall radiance.

Key benefits

  • Helps improve the look of fine lines and expression lines
  • Visibly supports the look of firmer, more supple skin
  • Helps skin look smoother and more radiant
  • Supports a brighter, more even-looking complexion

Key ingredients

  • Copper Tripeptide-1 (GHK-Cu): a naturally occurring copper-binding tripeptide that gives the serum its faint blue tint
  • Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 and Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7: a signal-peptide pair widely used in skincare for firmer-looking skin
  • Pentapeptide-18 and Acetyl Hexapeptide-8: peptides widely used in expression-line care
  • Acetyl Tetrapeptide-5: a peptide that supports the look of smooth, rested skin
  • Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate: a stable, oil-soluble vitamin C ester, paired with acetyl zingerone to help keep it stable

How to use

Apply 2 to 3 drops to clean skin morning and night, then follow with moisturizer. MATRIX is not a sunscreen. Patch test first.

Research behind the ingredients

Below is published research on the individual ingredients in MATRIX. These studies tested the ingredients alone or in other formulas, often at different concentrations, so they are not studies of MATRIX. MATRIX itself has not yet been studied in people.

  • Acetyl Hexapeptide-8: Blanes-Mira C et al. "A synthetic hexapeptide (Argireline) with antiwrinkle activity." International Journal of Cosmetic Science, 2002. doi:10.1046/j.1467-2494.2002.00153.x. The skin test used a 10% emulsion; MATRIX contains much less.
  • Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 and Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7: Yang F et al. "Comprehensive evaluation of the efficacy and safety of a new multi-component anti-aging topical eye cream." Skin Research and Technology, 2024. doi:10.1111/srt.13790. A 12-week randomized study of an eye cream containing these two peptides among other ingredients, run by the ingredient's developer.
  • Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate: Maloney ME et al. Randomized study of an antioxidant serum containing tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate. Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology, 2026. doi:10.1111/jocd.70826 (30% serum, company-linked authors; MATRIX uses a lower level). Boghosian T et al. Independent human studies of Pentapeptide-18 and Acetyl Tetrapeptide-5 are limited, so we list them as ingredient choices, not as proven effects.
